Circulators

United Optronics optical circulators are non-reciprocal devices that redirect light from port-to-port sequentially in only one direction. In advanced optical communication systems they are used for bi-directional transmission, WDM networks, fiber amplifier systems and optical time domain reflectometer (OTDR) measurements.

UOI circulators feature a small package, high channel isolation over a wide operational wavelength range, low insertion loss, low polarization dependent loss, low polarization mode dispersion and excellent stability.

Features

  • Low insertion loss
  • High isolation
  • Low crosstalk
  • Wide operating wavelength range
  • Low PDL and PMD

Applications

  • Long haul metropolitan and access networks
  • Optical add/drop module
  • Power equalization and
    pre-emphasis
  • Digital CATV
